Tarporley Karting Team
A brief history of us
Drivers
We have regularly competing junior kart drivers across many ages, from 8 - 17, and the lineup changes quite rapidly as new drivers join. Whatever school age you’re at, you will be made welcome. Get to know some of our faces, and an idea of scale - meet a few of our current club and owner drivers, and of course the leadership team.

Team Leaders
Running the team takes a variety of people keeping karts operational, drivers knowledgable, regulations updated, race meetings entered, trips organised, furthering recruitment... For the 2024/2025 season, we have:

Nick
Long standing TKT Leader Nick has seen two sons graduate the team, and currently mechanics for his daughter. Very rarely seen without a comms radio, spanner and someone seeking advice!

Antony
An old adage reads "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - however if it is, take it to Antony! A skilled racecar driver, ARDS instructor & engineer, he joined the team in 2017 and has overseen many race wins.

Andy
Andy knows how it all works - anything technical or mechanical - he is bound to have a spare, or a tool to fit! He used to drive in NatSKA back when he was in school (which is a little time ago now).

Neil
Now in his 5th season with the team, Neil is keen to ensure things keep ticking over nicely: engines as well as performances. Already a keen eye on the regulations, he is constantly chasing (mainly Anthony) for more knowledge!
