Our karting equipment & facilities
We're run to get kids into karting, by keeping entry costs low
As a community karting team, the equipment we own and operate can be provided to new members to help introduce you to the world of kart racing. This is grass roots level, so our karts have certainly been used - we aim to repair any mechanical issues where possible, rather than simply buying new to help keep costs down.
Generally when you join as a club driver, we will be able to provide you with a full kart setup to allow you to get a true taste for the sport without you having to outlay large sums of money buying your own equipment. You are of course welcome to improve the kart we’ve lent you with any upgrades you see fit - just let us know what you’re thinking.
Operating out of our main clubhouse at Tarporley High School, we ve two storage locations, a fully lit (and heated) workshop with the required jigs & specialist tools, as well as storage for all our clubs helmets, suits, boots etc.
Transport is an often overlooked part of the sport is actually getting your equipment to the circuit for race day. Once you’re up and running, most likely you will have your own trailer or van to carry all your gear - however until then we have a team trailer that has been converted to transport up to nine karts as well as our paddock awnings. You are welcome to book space on the trailer, leaving you to just get your driver to the meeting, and we’ll help take care of the rest.
