Fulbeck
Lincolnshire
Sitting in Lincolnshire, this track is a regular on the calendar. Some very tight corners, and a couple of tricky chicanes make Fulbeck a challenge.
Fulbeck Kart Circuit is a fast and flowing track with 10 corners, combining high-speed sections with technical corners that test both racecraft and kart control. The circuit demands smooth driving, late braking, and well-timed overtakes to maintain momentum.
The lap begins with Turn 1, a fast right-hander taken almost flat, where kart stability is key. This leads into Turn 2 (The Long Right Hairpin), a key overtaking opportunity requiring strong braking and a tight exit to carry speed onto the following straight.
Turn 3 (The Left Flick) is a quick direction change where precise steering input is needed to avoid unsettling the kart. Turn 4 (Sweeping Right) follows, demanding full commitment and a well-placed racing line. The mid-section of the track features Turn 5 (Tight Left Hairpin), another strong braking zone where a clean exit is vital.
The second half of the lap begins with Turn 6 (Fast Right), leading into Turn 7 (Sweeping Left), where maintaining momentum is crucial. The final sector includes Turn 8 (Right-Hander) and Turn 9 (The Final Hairpin Left), a tight corner where a well-timed throttle application is key before rounding Turn 10 (Slight Right), which leads back onto the main straight.
The circuit is accessed via a short lane off the main road, leading directly into the paddock. The surrounding area is flat and open, with minimal wind protection, meaning strong crosswinds can affect kart stability, especially on the straights and fast corners.
- Next to another karting circuit (PF International) - don't go into the entrance for this one.
- Very pot-holed road leading up to the circuit.
- Good little café - try the homemade chilli!
