Dunkeswell Kart Circuit is a technical yet flowing track with 12 corners, offering a mix of tight hairpins, high-speed kinks, and long straights. Its layout rewards smooth steering inputs, precise braking, and strong corner exits to carry momentum through the lap.

The lap begins with Turn 1, a fast right-hand kink taken flat out, leading immediately into Turn 2, a tighter right-hander where a late apex is key for a clean run. This feeds into Turn 3, a sweeping left where maintaining mid-corner speed is crucial.

Next comes Turn 4 (The First Hairpin), a heavy braking zone and one of the best overtaking opportunities. A strong exit here sets you up for Turn 5, a fast right kink that flows directly into Turn 6 (The Second Hairpin), another prime overtaking spot that demands precision on the brakes.

The mid-lap features Turn 7, a quick left flick that rewards commitment, followed by Turn 8, a sweeping right-hander where throttle control is important to avoid scrubbing speed. Turn 9 (The Chicane) is a sharp right-left sequence that requires crisp steering and smooth weight transfer.

The final sector includes Turn 10, a fast left-hand bend, before Turn 11 (Final Hairpin), where braking late but cleanly can make or break your lap. The circuit finishes with Turn 12, a flat-out right kink leading onto the start-finish straight.

The circuit is accessed via a short entrance road off the main route, leading to a well-equipped paddock area. Surrounded by open countryside at moderate elevation, Dunkeswell can be exposed to crosswinds, adding an extra challenge to an already rewarding track.

Roughly 210 miles (3 hours, 50 mins) from Tarporley.
