Clay Pigeon Kart Circuit is a fast and technical track with 9 corners, renowned for its flowing layout and challenging braking zones. Smooth driving, precise apexes, and good exit speed are critical to mastering this historic circuit.

The lap begins with Turn 1 (Billies Blind), a fast and blind right-hander that requires confidence and commitment to carry speed into Turn 2 (The Esses), a tight left-right chicane. This section demands precise inputs and careful weight transfer to maintain momentum while setting up for the next corner.

Exiting the Esses, a short straight leads to Turn 3 (Hairpin 1), a tight right-hand hairpin that offers one of the best overtaking opportunities on the circuit. A clean exit is vital for speed through Turn 4 (Hairpin 2), another tight right-hand bend that rewards patience and a late apex.

The mid-section flows into Turn 5 (Horseshoe), a sweeping right-hand corner where kart balance and throttle control are key. This leads onto Turn 6 (Buttons Bend), a slightly tighter right-hander that sets up for the back straight.

The final sector features Turn 7 (The Top Bend), a long, fast right-hander where maintaining speed is essential, before heading into Turn 8 (The Pit Corner), a quick left-hander leading onto the start-finish straight.

The circuit is accessed via a short lane from the main road, with ample paddock facilities. The surrounding terrain is flat and open, offering little protection from wind, which can affect kart performance. With its flowing layout and challenging corners, Clay Pigeon is a favorite among drivers looking to test their skills on one of the UK’s iconic karting tracks.
